I had a crush on my husband, and he didn’t even know I existed…

In my first year of University, I had a crush on my husband in the way only a 17-year-old girl can.

I had moved from a very small town in New Brunswick and had just moved to the big city of Toronto for my major.

He was in fourth year of the same program.
We were a really small group (only 16 people were admitted every year).

He had no idea I existed.

And I was DEVASTATED, in the way only a 17-year-old girl can be when her crush doesn’t like her back.​

Fast forward 8 years later and I am engaged to someone else.
I get hired to work at the same theatre company as my husband.

On the first night of rehearsals, I was like, “I had a crush on you!”

Fast forward another year and I have left my fiance, he left his long-term partner, and we were madly in love. (Email me if you want to full whirlwind story, because it’s a good one 😉)

We’ve been together for 16 years…​

I sat in the background pining over him while I watched him date other girls.

Your future clients don’t know what you have to offer because YOU AREN’T TELLING THEM.

Tell people that you have a crush on them.
Tell people that you have THE solution to their problem.
